Carmel Gamble has been nursing since 1979, and has worked exclusively in breast-care nursing since 2005. In that year, she completed her breast care nurse accreditation through La Trobe University, followed by a Graduate Certificate in Women’s Health at QUT in 2007.
She has gained wide experience over the last 10 years working in three different dedicated breast care units across Brisbane, in both public and private hospitals.
Carmel joined the team at Holy Spirit Northside Private Hospital in November 2012. She is dedicated to meeting the emotional and practical needs of patients and their loved ones, and offers information, guidance and support from diagnosis through to treatment and survivorship.
Tracey Schultz is a Breast Care Nurse who has specialised in women’s health. Over the past 12 years, Tracey has gained a considerable wealth of knowledge in breast health whilst working in both public and private health care facilities.
Tracey’s most recent work has been with BreastScreen Queensland in the screening and diagnostic setting, however Tracey has worked in many hospitals as a Breast Care Nurse caring, treating and supporting women with breast cancer.
Tracey joined Holy Spirit Northside Private Hospital in early 2015 to establish the Breast Health Centre’s clinical structure in consultation with our imaging and medical professionals.
